QUEENS, N.Y. (Oct. 5, 2025) – The Rutgers University-Camden women's tennis team had the honor of playing its Sunday match at the National Tennis Center, but the Scarlet Raptors lost a close decision against undefeated Pratt Institute, 5-2.
Pratt improved to 4-0, while Rutgers-Camden fell to 6-2.
Rutgers-Camden captured the one point for the best-of-three doubles competitions, winning matches at second doubles, 6-4, behind sophomores
Jilliane Jaugan and
Grace Albert, and earning a 6-1 win at third doubles behind senior co-captain
Katie Moore and freshman

Gabby Albert and
Bella Albert lost a 6-2 decision.
Grace Albert won the Scarlet Raptors' lone singles match at the third flight, 6-3, 6-4, but Rutgers-Camden came close in the other matches. At first singles,
Gabby Albert lost, 1-6, 4-6, while at second singles Jaugan was defeated, 3-6, 4-6.
Bella Albert was edged at fourth singles, 6-7 (6-8), 2-6, and O'Brien lost at fifth singles, 3-6, 4-6. At sixth singles, senior co-captain
Ashton Sirko dropped a 1-6, 0-6 decision.
The women return to action Friday when they host Division II California University of Pennsylvania at 4 p.m.
