HAVERFORD, Penn. (Aug. 30, 2025) – The Rutgers University-Camden men's soccer team had the statistical advantage in just about every phase of the game here Saturday, but the Scarlet Raptors settled for a 0-0 tie in a non-conference game at Haverford College.
The Raptors stand at 1-0-1 after a tough two-day schedule to open the season, while the Fords are 0-0-2 after back-to-back games to start the season.
Rutgers-Camden, coming off an impressive 4-0 win Friday over St. John Fisher University, held an 11-4 advantage in shots and a 13-3 margin in corner kicks, yet only put one shot on goal, a first-half shot by freshman
Declan Capps. The Fords had three shots on goal.
Raptor junior goalie
Aleksander Nycz made three saves to collect his first shutout in a Raptor uniform after sharing the shutout against St. John Fisher. Haverford sophomore keeper Grayson Benson made one save.
Rutgers-Camden returns to action Wednesday when it hosts Penn State-Abington at 7 p.m.
