Box Score 2 CAMDEN, N.J. – The Rutgers University-Camden baseball team rallied from a 3-1 deficit in the nightcap to edge The College of New Jersey, 6-3, and earn a split of their New Jersey Athletic Conference doubleheader here Saturday.
TCNJ (17-13, 6-8 in the NJAC) won the opening game, 6-2.
The second-game win snapped Rutgers-Camden's eight-game losing streak against the Lions, which dated back to 2010, and also hiked the Scarlet Raptors' record to 21-9-1 this season. At 10-4 in the conference, they are locked in a three-way tie for first place with Rowan and Kean.
Both teams play Tuesday with 3:30 p.m. non-conference games. Rutgers-Camden visits Penn State-Brandywine, while TCNJ hosts Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham.

TCNJ tacked on three more runs in the seventh inning against senior
Dashon Jones (Newark, NJ/Newark East Side), who worked the final three innings, allowing three hits, two earned runs and one walk. He fanned two.
The Lions collected an unearned run in the first on a walk, error and a sacrifice fly by junior shortstop

In the nightcap, the Lions took a 3-1 lead through two innings before Rutgers-Camden rallied with a run in the fifth, sparked by a one-out bunt single from junior centerfielder
