Box Score GALLOWAY, N.J. – The nationally-ranked Richard Stockton College men's basketball team hit nine out of 10 foul shots down the stretch – including eight straight – to break open a tie game and outlast Rutgers University-Camden, 58-51, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game here Wednesday night.

D3hoops.com Top 25 poll, improves to 18-3 overall and a conference-leading 12-2 in NJAC play. The Ospreys have won 14 straight games and 60 of their last 61 against Rutgers-Camden and lead the all-time series, 68-8.
The Scarlet Raptors fall to 11-10 overall and 5-9 in the NJAC, snapping a two-game winning streak.
Stockton built a 28-19 halftime lead and led by as many as 11 points (34-23 and 36-25) early in the second half before Rutgers-Camden forged back, taking a 42-41 lead with 6:36 remaining on a layup by senior guard
Wyatt Polk (Haddonfield, NJ/Haddonfield Memorial). Stockton immediately regained the lead on the first two of five consecutive foul shots by senior forward
Josh Blamon (Cinnaminson, NJ/Cinnaminson). Those foul shots by Blamon, and two more free throws by junior guard
Armin Cane (Pleasantville, NJ/Pleasantville), gave the Ospreys a 49-42 lead.
Rutgers-Camden answered with seven straight points of its own, tying the contest at 49-49 on a layup by Polk with 1:44 remaining. Polk had four points in that run, while junior guard
Julian Martin (Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) added three.
With 1:13 remaining, the Raptors got a defensive rebound off a missed three-point attempt by Blamon and called timeout. Twenty-five seconds later they missed a jumper and the Ospreys' senior forward
Myles Reuben (Edison, NJ/J.P. Stevens) grabbed the rebound and was fouled. He hit both foul shots to give Stockton the lead for good, 51-49.
Blamon added two more foul shots to make it 53-49. Raptor freshman forward
Abby Bah (Haddonfield, NJ/Haddonfield Memorial) cut the gap to 53-51 on a layup with 23 seconds remaining, but Blamon hit his next four foul shots and Reuben tacked on one of two in the last few seconds for the final margin.
Blamon finished with 16 points, while Cane added a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Ospreys.
Polk notched game-high totals of 21 points and four assists for Rutgers-Camden, while senior guard/forward
Teon Russell (Camden, NJ/Woodrow Wilson) had 10 points and barely missed his own double-double, finishing with nine rebounds.
Stockton shot 14-for-46 (30.4 percent) from the floor to the Raptors' 17-for-53 (32.1), but the Ospreys dominated the boards, 45-27, and also shor 27-for-38 (71.1) from the foul line.
The Scarlet Raptors return to NJAC action Saturday when they host Montclair State University at 3 p.m.
