Olivia Rowland (Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough) picked an impressive way to end her phenomenal collegiate athletic career.

Melissa Price (Haddon Township, NJ/Haddon Township) finished fifth in the Women's Varsity Pair finals here Saturday afternoon at the prestigious Dad Vail Regatta. The Scarlet Raptor duo posted a time of 9:57.630 in the race won by Brock (8:42.458).
The two-time Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference (MARC) women's pair champions, Price and Rowland qualified for the Dad Vail semifinals on Friday and then advanced to the finals when they finished second out of six boats in their morning semifinal. They posted a time of 8:18.399 to finish second only to Brock (8:00.026) in the semifinal, while beating out pairs teams from Rollins (8:32.768), Drexel (8:33.927), Florida Tech (8:44.984) and MIT (9:12.920).
Rowland, one of the finest two-sport athletes in Rutgers-Camden history, was named the MVP of both the women's rowing team and the volleyball team during her junior and senior seasons. In addition to her accomplishments with the crew program, she set Rutgers-Camden volleyball career records for matches played (121), sets played (441), total blocks (388) and hitting percentage (.268). She finished second in all-time kills (879), fourth in blocks per set (0.88) and seventh in kills per set (1.99), and she ranks among the program's single-season and single-match charts in numerous categories.
While Rowland earned rowing MVP honors, Price was recognized as the team's Most Dedicated rower for the second straight season.
Both Rowland and Price earned All-MARC Varsity honors this season, with Rowland earning her second straight MARC Varsity recognition. Both also have been named to the MARC Novice Team in their first season of collegiate rowing, which for Price came last spring.
In addition to their athletic honors, Rowland and Price have been named to the MARC Academic Team and both were members of the inaugural Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director's Honor Roll, which started during the Fall 2015 semester. Rowland also has been honored on the New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Team and the
Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Volleyball Team for her accomplishments as a volleyball student-athlete.
