CAMDEN, New Jersey (Oct. 5, 2017) – The Rutgers University-Camden women's volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 win over Medgar Evers College here tonight at the Rutgers-Camden Athletic & Fitness Center Gymnasium.
The win puts the Scarlet Raptors even at 10-10 on the season, as Medgar Evers drops to 0-14 on the year.
Junior
Victoria Lake (Mount Laurel, NJ, Lenape) led the Scarlet Raptors on the night in kills with 9. Sophomore
Caitlynn Marcano (Williamstown, NJ, Williamstown) dished out 7 aces to lead Rutgers-Camden in that category. Freshman
Alyson Lowe (Havertown, PA, Haverford) and
Lake added 1 block each.
Marcano led in assists as well, providing 23 to her teammates. Sophomore
Kate Patterson (Elk, NJ, Gloucester County Institute of Technology) led Rutgers-Camden on the defensive side of the ball, adding 9 digs.
The Scarlet Raptors only dropped 15 points across the entire match.
Senior
Cortnee Wilkerson (Los Angeles, CA, West Adams Prep) added 6 kills and 6 aces. Sophomore
Jordan Erskine (Barnegat, NJ, Barnegat) provided 4 kills. Sophomore
Natalie DiGiacomo (Williamstown, NJ, Williamstown) also provided defensive work, collecting 7 digs on the night. Sophomore
Lauren Pace (Beachwood, NJ, Monsignor Donovan) contributed 3 kills and 1 dig on the night, as sophomore
Meghan Gallagher (Sicklerville, NJ, Paul VI) collected 3 digs and 2 kills. Freshman
Ashley Newman (Collegeville, PA, Methacton) collected 4 digs for the Scarlet Raptors' defense.
Wilkerson is now tied for 6th in career matches played for the Scarlet Raptors, making her 112th appearance tonight. She is currently tied with

The Scarlet Raptors enjoy the weekend off, before they return to New Jersey Athletic Conference play on Tuesday, October 10th, as they take on Stockton University in a crucial NJAC matchup. The Scarlet Raptors sit at 3-2 in the NJAC. First serve on Tuesday is set for 7pm.
