CAMDEN, N.J. (Feb. 8, 2018) – The New Jersey Athletic Conference-leading Ramapo College men's basketball team scored the first six points of the game, established a 15-point halftime lead and went on to defeat Rutgers University-Camden, 75-55, in a Senior Night game here Thursday night.

Ramapo, which received nine votes this week toward the
D3hoops.com Top 25 and has been ranked as high as No. 5 nationally this season, improves to 18-5 overall and 14-2 in the NJAC. The Roadrunners have won their last six games against the Scarlet Raptors and lead the all-time series, 49-15.
Rutgers-Camden falls to 3-19 overall and 1-15 in the conference with its eighth straight loss.

Vincent Anfield Jr. (Mount Holly, Rancocas Valley), Charlie Riccardi (Mullica Hill, NJ/St. Joseph-Hammonton) and
Marcus Taylor (Somerdale, NJ/Sterling) for their contributions. Taylor is completing his four-year career at Rutgers-Camden this season. Riccardi played three years with the Scarlet Raptors and Anfield was at Rutgers-Camden this season after transferring from NJAC schools Rowan University and Montclair State University, respectively.

The Roadrunners started quickly with field goals from three different players before Anfield got the Scarlet Raptors on the scoreboard to make it a 6-2 game. Ramapo, however, opened went on an 8-2 run to build its first double-digit lead at 14-4 and by halftime the visitors were up, 43-28, behind nine points from senior guard
Josh Ford (Fort Lee, NJ/Fort Lee) and seven from senior forward
Thomas Bonacum (Fanwood, NJ/Scotch Plains-Fanwood).
Taylor had seven first-half points for the Scarlet Raptors, while Riccardi added six.
Ramapo led by as many as 23 points, 73-50, in the second half.
The Roadrunners placed 10 players in the scoring column, with Bonacum notching 17 points, Ford netting 11 and senior forward
Christopher Moseley (Fair Lawns, NJ/Fair Lawn) adding nine. Bonacum also hauled down a game-high 11 rebounds to complete a double-double and dished off a game-high seven assists.
Ramapo out-rebounded Rutgers-Camden, 49-21, and held the Scarlet Raptors to 29.6 percent shooting (16-for-54) from the field. The Roadrunners shot 32-for-62 (51.6).

Riccardi led the Scarlet Raptors with 13 points and four rebounds, while junior guard
Anthony Harris (Philadelphia, PA/Philadelphia Electrical & Technology) added nine points. Anfield and Taylor both finished with seven points and freshman guard
Ian McCarthy (Cherry Hill, NJ/Camden Catholic) added six.
The Scarlet Raptors close out the season with a pair of road conference games, beginning Saturday with a 1 p.m. game at William Paterson University. They end the season Feb. 14 at Montclair State University.
