CAMDEN, N.J. (Oct. 10, 2019) – The Rutgers University-Camden volleyball team swept past Penn State Brandywine 3-0, here Thursday in a non-conference match.
The Scarlet Raptors (10-8 overall) defeated the Nittany Lions (10-13) by scores of 25-14, 25-9 and 25-15.
The Scarlet Raptors were led by senior
Jamie Mulligan with 12 kills, five digs, and two blocks, while hitting .579.
Sophomore
Kayla Benesz tallied a match high with six aces and 13 assists. Sophomore
Brinn Hassan added 12 assists.
Sophomore
Devyn Cobb added four kills and a match-high three blocks.
Rutgers-Camden will be back in action Saturday, October 12, for a tri-match with Elizabethtown College and Sarah Lawrence at 11 a.m.
