Sean Sigall shot a 6-over par 77 to lead the Rutgers University-Camden golf team to a season-opening victory here Wednesday at the Stockton University Invitational.
Rutgers-Camden shot a 326 to win the three-team event, which was played on the Par 71, 6,731-yard Seaview Pines Golf Course. Host Stockton University finished second with a 352, while the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia was third (358).
Sigall led a 1-2-3 Raptor run at the top of the leaderboard in the 18-man event.

Chris Colman finished second overall for the Scarlet Raptors, shooting a 79, while freshman
Patrick DeMareo made his collegiate debut and finished third with an 82.

Dylan Willey both shot a round of 88 to tie one other player for eighth overall. Another Raptor freshman, playing as an individual, finished 15th as
David Gibson carded a 96 in his collegiate debut.
Rutgers-Camden returns to action Monday, Oct. 14, when it hosts its own RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Fall Invitational, beginning at 12 p.m. at Merchantville Country Club in Cherry Hill.
