CAMDEN, N.J. (Sept. 5, 2019) – The Rutgers University-Camden women's volleyball team dominated Delaware Valley University in a 3-0 victory in the Scarlet Raptors' home opener here Thursday night.
Rutgers-Camden (2-3) won by scores of 25-11, 25-14 and 25-17.
The Scarlet Raptors were led by senior
Morgan Mulligan with 12 kills and freshman
Tatijana Liedman with seven kills.
Five sophomores would end up being key contributors to the Rutgers-Camden victory.
Morgan Fox led the team with 19 digs,
Kayla Benesz added 17 assists and seven digs and
Brinn Hassan added 12 assists, nine digs, three service aces and one kill.
Haley Novak collected nine digs and three service aces, while
Devyn Cobb collected five kills, four blocks (one solo and three assisted) and two service aces.
Caitlin Nemil led the Aggies (1-4) with 13 digs and eight assists.
The Scarlet Raptors will entertain Penn State-Abington at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11.
