Shannon Devitt notched a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds to lead The College of New Jersey women's basketball team over Rutgers University-Camden, 61-52, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game here Wednesday night.
The Lions improve to 14-7 overall and 11-3 in the NJAC, while the Scarlet Raptors fall to 11-10 and 4-10.
TCNJ has won its last six games against Rutgers-Camden and holds a 60-12 lead in the all-time series.

TCNJ broke to a quick 21-7 lead after one quarter. They led, 30-18, at the half behind 10 points, eight rebounds and three blocks from Devitt, who passed the career 1,000-point milestone on Saturday.
After allowing a three-pointer by senior forward Jen Byrne to open the third quarter, Rutgers-Camden went on a 9-0 run to slice its deficit to six points, 33-27. Senior guard

Jalissa Pitts added two in that run. The Raptors also cut their gap to six points (39-33) later in the quarter, but by the start of the fourth quarter the Lions had built their lead back to 12 points, 45-33.
TCNJ widened its lead to as many as 19 points (57-38) in the fourth quarter before the Scarlet Raptors sliced the final gap to nine points.
In addition to the double-double by Devitt, TCNJ received 15 points and nine rebounds from freshman guard Sydney Blum and 10 points from junior guard Elle Cimilluca. Blum added a game-high four steals.
TCNJ shot 24-for-69 from the floor (34.8 percent) and his 9-for-27 (33.3) from three-point range, including 3-for-5 by Blum. Rutgers-Camden shot 21-for-63 (33.3) from the floor and held a slight 48-46 edge off the boards.
Williams finished with 19 points for the Scarlet Raptors, hiking her career total to 1,158 points and moving into 10th place on the program's all-time list. She passed Maureen McGovern, who had 1,154 points from 1994-99. Williams added nine rebounds.
Pitts, who was named the NJAC Rookie of the Week on Monday, collected her second double-double in her last three games, notching 10 points and 13 rebounds. It was her third double-double of the season.
Holmes finished with 12 points.
Rutgers-Camden plays a 6 p.m. NJAC game at Rutgers-Newark Saturday.
