GALLOWAY, N.J. (Feb. 20, 2021) – The Rutgers University-Camden men's basketball team was held to 23 points in each half of its New Jersey Athletic Conference game here Saturday as it dropped a 65-46 decision at Stockton University.
The Scarlet Raptors fall to 0-6 overall and in the NJAC, while the Ospreys even their record at 3-3 and 3-3.
The game was tied at 2-2, 4-4 and 6-6 before the Ospreys went on an 11-point run to take the lead for good. Senior guard Luciano Lubrano started the run with back-to-back treys, netting six of his 11 first-half points. By halftime, the Ospreys had forged into a 32-23 lead.
Rutgers-Camden scored the first four points of the second half to cut its deficit to 32-27. The Scarlet Raptors received a layup from sophomore forward

Gavin Henry to open the half, but Stockton scored the next seven points to build a 12-point lead. The closest the Raptors came after that was 10 points, at 39-29.
Lubrano scored a game-high 16 points for Stockton, aided by 4-for-8 shooting from three-point range. On Friday night, when the Ospreys defeated the Scarlet Raptors in Camden, Lubrano had tied for team-high honors with 13 points.
Stockton placed 11 players in the scoring column and shot 23-for-50 (46.0 percent) from the floor. The Ospreys also forced 24 turnovers by the Scarlet Raptors.
Henry had another strong game for the Scarlet Raptors, scoring 11 points to tie for team-high honors with freshman forward
Jaelin Keels. Henry also collected a game-high nine rebounds, while Savage added eight boards.

Tristan Cornish notched eight points, five rebounds and a game-high three steals.
Rutgers-Camden shot 15-for-43 from the floor (34.9 percent) and was 11-for-18 (61.1) from the foul line, led by a 6-for-6 performance by Henry.
Rutgers-Camden returns to NJAC play Friday with a 5 p.m. game at Kean University. The Scarlet Raptors will host the Cougars the next day in a 2 p.m. contest.
