YORK, Penn. (Sept. 19, 2021) – The Rutgers University-Camden and York College women's tennis teams split their six singles matches here Sunday, but the Scarlet Raptors won two of the three doubles competitions to win the match as Rutgers-Camden posted a 5-4 road victory.
The win lifts the Scarlet Raptors to 5-0 and completes a two-match weekend sweep over Moravian College and York College.

Morgan Dempsey taking an 8-3 decision at third singles. The Raptors almost swept the doubles, but sophomore

Laurel DiStefano lost a close 8-6 match at second doubles.
In singles competition, Hoban rallied to win at the second spot (4-6, 6-1, 6-3) and Trivers won at third singles (6-2, 6-4). Dempsey completed a stellar weekend at sixth singles with a 6-3, 6-4 victory. Over the Raptors' two matches on Saturday and Sunday, she was the lone Rutgers-Camden player to win both of her singles and doubles matches, going 4-0.
The Scarlet Raptors lost at first singles (Ahrens, 2-6 and 1-6), fourth singles (DiStefano, 2-6 and 1-6) and fifth singles (Hall, 4-6 and 2-6). Ahrens, Trivers and Hall all won three of their four weekend matches.
The Scarlet Raptors return to action Saturday with a 12 p.m. match at Bryn Mawr College.
