Women's tennis sweeps NJAC match over Ramapo

CAMDEN, N.J. (April 15, 2022) – After hitting a small bump in the road, the Rutgers University-Camden women's tennis team returned to its winning ways here Friday, defeating Ramapo College, 9-0, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference match.

The victory lifts the Scarlet Raptors to 12-3 overall and 2-2 in NJAC play, snapping a three-match losing streak that occurred on the heels of winning their first 11 matches of the season.

Ramapo falls to 3-4 overall and 1-2 in the NJAC.

Rutgers-Camden is now 4-7 against Ramapo since restarting its women's tennis program in 2011, but the Scarlet Raptors have won the last four meetings between the teams.
