CAMDEN, N.J. (April 8, 2022) – The Ursinus College women's tennis team won every match except first doubles as it defeated Rutgers University-Camden, 8-1, here Friday in a match that had been postponed from March 24 due to the weather.
Ursinus improves to 9-3, while Rutgers-Camden falls to 11-2 with its second straight loss.

Sarah Ahrens and senior
Tiffany Trivers won the Raptors' lone match at first doubles, 8-5. Rutgers-Camden sophomore
Samantha Hoban and junior
Laurel DiStefano lost a close decision at second doubles (7-8) and seniors
Morgan Dempsey and
LeAnne Hall lost at third doubles (1-8).
Ahrens dropped a close 6-7, 6-7 decision at first singles, Hoban lost at second singles (2-6, 1-6) and Trivers was edged at third singles (6-1, 6-7, 5-7). DiStefano lost, 2-6, 1-6, at fourth singles, Hall was defeated at fifth singles (1-6, 2-6) and Dempsey dropped a match at sixth singles (3-6, 1-6).
The victory for Ahrens and Trivers in doubles raised their record as a team to 11-1 this season.
The Scarlet Raptors return to action Saturday with an 11 a.m. New Jersey Athletic Conference match at Stockton University.
