PRINCETON, N.J. – Three members of the Rutgers University-Camden cross country programs competed at the Open races of the Princeton Cross Country Invitational here Saturday.

On the men's side, senior Jeff Bash (Atco, NJ/Hammonton) and sophomore Marvin Sandoval (Camden, NJ/Camden Catholic) ran in the 337-runner 8K race, while sophomore Millie Kipp (West Deptford, NJ/West Deptford) competed in the 302-runner 6K women's race.

Bash finished 111th in the race that featured runners from all NCAA divisions, along with Junior College and unaffiliated athletes. He notched a time of 27:09, his best 8K time at Rutgers-Camden. His previous best was 27:30.16 at the Osprey Open on Sept. 20 of this season.

Sandoval, meanwhile, recorded a time of 27:47, only a few seconds off his Rutgers-Camden best, as he finished 166th.

Kipp, meanwhile, finished 95th in the women's race, posting a time of 25:01.

All three Rutgers-Camden runners beat numerous Division I and II athletes in the competition.

The full Scarlet Raptor squads return to action Nov. 1 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships, which will be held at Richard Stockton College.
