Camden, NJ – Immaculata University handed Rutgers-Camden women's lacrosse team a loss in their season opener.
The Scarlet Raptors had a 8-5 lead at the half, but the Mighty Macs outscored Rutgers-Camden 14-3 in the second period. The 19-11 victory over the Scarlet Raptors is the Mighty Macs first win of the year.

Holly Cusick led the team with three goals.
Jackie Jones,
Dorothy Westlake, and
Cecilia Gross each recorded two goals.
Tori Gerstenacker grabbed two ground balls and caused three turnovers.
The Scarlet Raptors (0-1, NJAC 0-0) will host Cedar Crest College on Monday, March 3rd at 4 p.m.
