CAMDEN, NJ - The Rutgers-Camden women's tennis team secures their first win with a 6-3 victory over Cairn University. 
            

The Scarlet Raptors won two matches over the Highlanders. Amanda Hickman and Kelsey Mercer won 8-0 in the first spot.  Angela Errigo and Christine Abacan won 8-3 as the No. 2 duo. 
 

In singles action, Amanda Hickman won 6-0, 6-0 in the first spot.  At the No. 2 spot, Angela Errigo won 6-0, 6-0. Kelsey Mercer won 6-1, 6-0 in the third spot.  In the fourth spot, Christine Abacan won 2-6, 6-3, 10-7.  Donna Safar lost 6-2, 6-0 in the fifth spot.


Rutgers-Camden (1-1, NJAC 0-0) will host The College of New Jersey on Sunday, Aug. 31 at 11am.
