Kamari Talley (Camden, NJ/Creative Arts) notched her seventh straight double-double as the Rutgers University-Camden women's basketball team closed out a huge weekend here Sunday, posting a 66-43 victory over John Jay College of Criminal Justice in a non-conference game.
The Scarlet Raptors, who also notched an overtime victory against William Paterson University in a home game here Saturday, improved their record to 5-4 as they head into the holiday break.
John Jay falls to 2-7 with its fourth straight loss.
Rutgers-Camden scored the first seven points of the game and was never threatened. By the end of the first quarter, the Scarlet Raptors held a 17-8 lead, with seven points coming from freshman guard
Gabby Greene (Howell, NJ/Howell). Rutgers-Camden led, 31-13, at halftime.
Robinson finished with career highs of 14 points and 11 rebounds, passing her previous highs of 12 points (Dec. 12 against William Paterson) and seven boards (Dec. 5 against Kean).
Talley notched 13 points and 11 rebounds one day after compiling a monster double-double against Paterson with 28 points and a program single-game record of 30 rebounds.
Greene also poured in 13 points, while collecting a game- and career-high six steals. Sophomore guard/forward
Cara Racobaldo (Pennsauken, NJ/Camden Catholic), meanwhile, notched a career-high 10 assists, while adding eight rebounds, eight points and three steals. Her previous high in assists was eight, accomplished twice.

Michelle Obasi (Camden, NJ/Camden Catholic) scored 12 points to give the Raptors a fourth player in double figures.
For the game, the Raptors shot 28-for-79 (35.4 percent), while the Bloodhounds shot 14-for-45 (31.1). Rutgers-Camden held a 46-35 advantage off the boards and forced 31 John Jay turnovers.

Brianna Cunningham (Rockville Centre, NY/Malverne Senior), who had game-high totals of 16 points and 13 rebounds. Sophomore forward
Victoria Royal (Bronx, NY/Monsignor Scanlan) added nine boards for John Jay, while senior guard
Terry Chu (Rockaway, NY/Baruch) scored nine points.
John Jay returns to action Jan. 2 when it travels to Hunter College for a 5 p.m. City College of New York Athletic Conference game.
Rutgers-Camden is idle until Jan. 4, when it hosts Bryn Athyn College in a 7 p.m. non-conference game.
