Scarlet Raptors fall to TCNJ in Conference Opener

CAMDEN, NJ – The Rutgers-Camden women's lacrosse team lost to The College of New Jersey in the conference opener.
 
The nationally ranked Lions (#11) beat the Scarlet Raptors 17-to-1.  The College of New Jersey was the pre-season pick by the coaches to win the NJAC title, collecting six first-place votes. The Lions won the NJAC title five times in the last six years. TCNJ has a NJAC record of 30-1 since 2009.

Krystal Valianti scored a goal and she had a ground ball.  Cecilia Gross had three ground balls, two draw controls, and caused two turnovers.  Sarah Boucot notched two ground balls and caused two turnovers. 

The Scarlet Raptors (1-4, NJAC 0-1) will travel to Arcadia University (5-1) on Thursday, March 19th at 4 p.m.
