Kamari Talley (Camden, NJ/Creative Arts) scored her career high of 38 points and notched her notched her eighth straight double-double to lead the Scarlet Raptors over Bryn Athyn College, 72-56, in a non-conference basketball game here Monday night.
Rutgers-Camden improves to 6-4 with its third straight win, while Bryn Athyn falls to 3-4, snapping a two-game winning streak.
The Scarlet Raptors' 10-game mark is their best since starting the 2011-12 season with a 9-1 record.
Talley shot 17-for-26 from the field and 4-for-5 from the foul line on her way to 38 points, the most at Rutgers-Camden since Megan Rulon notched 39 points against Valley Forge Christian on Nov. 28, 2005. Talley's output passed her previous Raptor high of 28 points, accomplished twice, against William Paterson (Dec. 12, 2015) and against Rowan (Jan. 29, 2015).
Talley also added game-high totals of 13 rebounds, helping the Raptors hold a 39-34 edge off the boards, and seven steals. The seven steals also set her career high, passing the previous high of five, accomplished four times.
Bryn Athyn's lone lead of the game came after junior guard/forward
Robin McClinek (Philadelphia, PA/Central) hit a jumper for the opening points of the game. The contest was tied three times at 2-2, 8-8 and 16-16 before the Scarlet Raptors took the lead for good late in the first quarter on a jumper by sophomore guard/forward
Cara Racobaldo (Pennsauken, NJ/Camden Catholic). By the end of the first quarter the Raptors held a 20-16 lead and they built the margin to 40-24 by halftime.
Racobaldo finished with 10 points, five rebounds, five steals and a game-high six assists.

Michelle Obasi (Camden, NJ/Camden Catholic) collected nine points, seven boards and two steals, while freshman guard
Gabby Greene (Howell, NJ/Howell) added seven points, five assists and one rebound. Sophomore guard
Alexis Sommers (Collingswood, NJ/Haddon Township) chipped in with four points, three rebounds and two assists, while junior forward/center
Caroline Santiago (Buena, NJ/Buena Regional) had four points, four goas, one assist and two steals.
The Lions received 13 points and 10 rebounds from junior guard/forward
Kristina Clark (Perth Amboy, NJ/Perth Amboy). She also added team highs of five assists and five steals.

Keana Schoennagle (Hazleton, PA/Hazelton) scored 10 points.
Rutgers-Camden travels to Rutgers-Newark Wednesday night for a 6 p.m. New Jersey Athletic Conference game.
Bryn Athyn College plays its first home game Thursday when it hosts Gallaudet University in an 8 p.m. North Eastern Athletic Conference contest.
