James Brett (Palmyra, NJ/Palmyra) continued his big week with his second straight 14-save performance to help the Scarlet Raptors tie Ramapo College, 1-1, in a double-overtime New Jersey Athletic Conference game here Saturday.

On a cool, rainy day, both teams managed only one first-half goal as Rutgers-Camden extended its unbeaten string against Ramapo to six years (5-0-1). The Scarlet Raptors lead the all-time series, 18-13-5.
Homecoming week
Brett, who had 14 saves – many spectacular ones – in a 1-0 shutout over The College of New Jersey in a home game Wednesday night, collected 14 again against the Roadrunners, tying his career high for the second straight game. He established his high of 14 saves last season in the NJAC championship game against Montclair State University.
The tie was the fifth of Brett's career, tying former Raptor All-American Mike Randall (2010-13) for fourth place on the program's all-time list. With his 110 minutes played against Ramapo, Brett hiked his career total to 3,027:47, ninth on the career list and barely behind eighth-place Brent Grunow, who had 3,035:40 between 2005-07.

Ramapo out-shot the Scarlet Raptors, 21-19, including 13-6 in the second half, Rutgers-Camden, however, held a 5-2 advantage in shots during the overtime periods, including 3-0 in the first overtime.
Rutgers-Camden also held a 10-6 edge in corner kicks.
