Box Score CAMDEN, NJ – Neumann University women's lacrosse team beat Rutgers-Camden in overtime, 12-to-11.
The Scarlet Raptors were down 7-to-4 at the half. Rutgers-Camden bounced back outscoring the Knights 7-to-4 to force overtime. Neumann's Jordan Hopkins scored the game winning goal in overtime.
Sophomore
Nicole Martin had a game high seven points with four goals and three assists. Martin also notched four draw controls, two caused turnovers, and nine ground balls.
Cecilia Gross scored two goals, a ground ball and five draw controls. Gross reached her 100
th career draw control and is currently second overall with 104 career draw controls.
Holly Cusick netted two goals, an assist, and a caused turnover.
Natalie DiCarlo had a goal, two assists and a ground ball.
Krystal Valianti scored a goal and three ground balls.
Taylor Reader also scored a goal for the Scarlet Raptors.
The Scarlet Raptors (5-3, NJAC 0-0) will host Immaculata University on Monday, April 4 at 4 p.m.
