Women’s Lacrosse Celebrates Senior Day

CAMDEN, NJ – Today the Rutgers-Camden Women's Lacrosse team honors eight players who have contributed to the success of the program over the last several years.
 
#2 Cecilia Gross
Cecilia is a Three-year lacrosse letterwinner.  Played in 40 games…Compiled 89 goals, 8 assists, 66 ground balls, 27 caused turnovers and 125 draw controls… Cecilia is second all-time in program history with 125 career draw controls and third all-time in program history with 89 career goals and 3 game winning goals … Notched her match-high total of 9 draw controls against Elizabethtown College in 2014…Named NJAC Honorable Mention in 2015.
         
#4 Katie Horneff
Katie is a Three-year lacrosse letterwinner.  Played in 43 games…Compiled 45 ground balls, 22 caused turnovers and 6 draw controls… Scored her first goal against Cedar Crest College in 2014. 
 
#6 Holly Cusick
Holly is a Four-year lacrosse letterwinner.  Played in 58 games…Compiled 73 goals, 46 assists, 119 points, 119 ground balls, 51 caused turnovers and 135 draw controls… Holly is the all-time career program leader with 46 assists, 135 draw controls, 119 ground balls, and 51 caused turnovers.  Notched her match-high total of 12 ground balls against Cedar Crest College in 2014…Named NJAC Honorable Mention in 2015.
 
#11 Tori Gerstenacker
Tori is a Three-year lacrosse letterwinner.  Played in 42 games…Compiled 55 ground balls, 35 caused turnovers and 4 draw controls… Notched her match-high total of 6 ground balls against Neumann University in 2014… Tori is fourth all-time in program history with 35 caused turnovers . 

#13 Traven Harris
Traven is a Four-year lacrosse letterwinner.  Played in 58 games…Compiled 66 ground balls, 39 caused turnovers and 10 draw controls… Notched her match-high total of 4 caused turnovers against Wilkes University on March 19, 2016… Traven is third all-time in program history with 39 caused turnovers.
 
#20 Breanna Heifet
Breanna is a Two-year lacrosse letterwinner.  Played in 24 games…Compiled 14 goals, 9 assists, 65 ground balls, 25 caused turnovers and 76 draw controls… Notched her match-high total of 8 ground balls against Delaware Valley on March 22, 2016… Breanna is fourth all-time in program history with 76 caused turnovers.
 
#21 Krystal Valianti
Krystal is a Four-year lacrosse letterwinner.  Played in 58 games…Compiled 111 goals, 35 assists, 146 points, 81 ground balls, 27 caused turnovers and 33 draw controls… Krystal is the all-time career program leader with 6 game winning goals… Krystal is second in the program with 111 goals, 35 assists, and 146 points… Krystal holds the single game points record with 11which she managed to accomplish two times and she also holds the single game assists record with 8… Named NJAC Honorable Mention in 2014.
 
#36 Alexa Rocks
Alexa is a Two-year lacrosse letterwinner.  Played in 28 games…Compiled 8 wins, 36 ground balls, 233 saves and 4 caused turnovers… Notched her match-high total of 16 saves against Elizabethtown on March 15, 2016. 
 
The women's lacrosse program and the entire Rutgers-Camden community celebrates their accomplishments and wishes Cecilia, Katie, Holly, Tori, Traven, Breanna,  Krystal and Alexa all the best in their future.
 
Montclair State University beat Rutgers-Camden 17-to-4. Cecilia Gross scored two goals, three ground balls, and three draw controls.  Breanna Heifet netted a goal, five ground balls, and five draw controls. Nicole Martin had a goal, two ground balls and a draw control.
 
The Scarlet Raptors finish the season 7-8 and 1-5 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference.
