Camden, NJ (April 19, 2018) – In a crucial must-win match for the Rutgers University-Camden women's lacrosse team, Kean University had other ideas to spoil the fun for the Scarlet Raptors this afternoon. The Cougars from Kean came out on top, defeating Rutgers-Camden by a final score of 18-6.
With the loss, the Scarlet Raptors drop to 2-8 and 0-4 in the NJAC standings. Kean raises its record to 13-2 (3-2 NJAC).
The Cougars rolled off to a quick start, scoring 4 goals in the opening 5:14. Over the span of the next 14 minutes, Kean continued its constant pressure and netted home 6 more goals, before senior midfielder
