Box Score 2 GRANTHAM, Penn. (Oct. 9, 2021) – The Rutgers University-Camden volleyball team outlasted Elizabethtown College in five sets before losing in three sets against Messiah University in a tri-match hosted by the Falcons here Saturday.
Rutgers-Camden (13-6) defeated the Blue Jays (13-5), 22-25, 25-22, 25-21, 17-25, 15-11. They lost to Messiah (12-8), 15-25, 17-25 and 15-25.
The Scarlet Raptors host William Paterson University Tuesday at 7 p.m. in a New Jersey Athletic Conference match.

The Scarlet Raptors scored the last five points in the decisive 15-11 fifth set to capture the victory and snap the Blue Jays' nine-match winning streak. Sophomore

Kaitlyn Parrish added the match-clinching kill for the Raptors.

Isabella Choice led the team with 14 kills and a .520 hitting percentage, while sophomore
Erica Nebrich added 13 kills and both Parrish and Free had nine apiece. Nebrich added two solo blocks.

Brinn Hassan delivered 42 assists and 16 digs for a double-double, while senior
Delaney Kolb notched 20 digs, senior
Savannah Hayes had 18 digs and four aces, and senior
Morgan Fox added 16 digs.
Messiah 3, Rutgers-Camden 0
After losing to the Blue Jays earlier in the day, the Falcons swept the Scarlet Raptors to leave all teams with a 1-1 record in the tri-match.
Choice and Nebrich led the way for the Scarlet Raptors with seven kills apiece. Parrish collected four kills and hit .333.
Hassan added 14 assists and Fox led the team with nine digs. Hayes added six digs.
