CAMDEN, N.J. (Sept. 21, 2021) – Few New Jersey Athletic Conference teams have had a lot of success against the Stockton University volleyball team over the years, as the Ospreys have won 11 NJAC titles in the past 15 years. For a while here Tuesday night, however, the Rutgers-Camden Scarlet Raptors gave Stockton all it could handle.
Rutgers-Camden outlasted Stockton, 26-24, in the first set before the Ospreys took the final three sets, 25-20, 25-17 and 25-16.
The 3-1 win lifts the two-time defending NJAC champion Ospreys to 4-9 overall and 2-0 in NJAC play. Rutgers-Camden falls to 7-4 overall and 0-2 in the conference.
