ABINGTON, Penn. (Sept. 7, 2021) – The Rutgers University-Camden volleyball team fell into a one-set hole here Tuesday night, but the Scarlet Raptors roared back to defeat Penn State-Abington, 3-1, in a non-conference match.
Rutgers-Camden won by scores of 23-25, 25-14, 25-13 and 25-17 to leave both teams with 3-1 records.
Sophomore middle blocker/outside hitter
Kaliyah Moss collected her second double-double of the season with 10 kills and 16 digs.
Sophomore outside hitter/right side
Erica Nebrich had a team-high 11 kills while hitting .556. She also added seven aces and nine digs for the Scarlet Raptors.
Senior setter
Brinn Hassan collected 39 assists, while sophomore middle hitter/outside hitter
Isabella Choice notched 10 kills, hit .304 and had four solo blocks.
Sophomore outside hitter
Dyamond Free nearly had a double-double as she collected 15 digs and finished with nine kills.
Senior libero
Morgan Fox collected 14 digs and senior defensive specialist
Haley Novak notched three service aces.
