Scarlet Raptors rally for 3-1 volleyball victory at PSU-Abington

ABINGTON, Penn. (Sept. 7, 2021) – The Rutgers University-Camden volleyball team fell into a one-set hole here Tuesday night, but the Scarlet Raptors roared back to defeat Penn State-Abington, 3-1, in a non-conference match.
 
Rutgers-Camden won by scores of 23-25, 25-14, 25-13 and 25-17 to leave both teams with 3-1 records.
 
Sophomore middle blocker/outside hitter Kaliyah Moss collected her second double-double of the season with 10 kills and 16 digs.
 
Sophomore outside hitter/right side Erica Nebrich had a team-high 11 kills while hitting .556. She also added seven aces and nine digs for the Scarlet Raptors.
 
Senior setter Brinn Hassan collected 39 assists, while sophomore middle hitter/outside hitter Isabella Choice notched 10 kills, hit .304 and had four solo blocks.
 
Sophomore outside hitter Dyamond Free nearly had a double-double as she collected 15 digs and finished with nine kills.
 
Senior libero Morgan Fox collected 14 digs and senior defensive specialist Haley Novak notched three service aces.
 
The Scarlet Raptors host Immaculata University Friday at 7 p.m.
