CAMDEN, N.J. (March 22, 2022) – Senior midfielder 
Claire Gailliout became the sixth player in program history to reach 100 career points, but the Immaculata University lacrosse team defeated Rutgers University-Camden, 20-10, in a non-conference game here Tuesday.
 
The loss drops the Scarlet Raptors to 2-5. Immaculata improves to 3-6, snapping a four-game losing streak. The Mighty Macs are 8-3 against the Raptors in the all-time series.
 
Gailliout earned her 100th career point early, assisting on the first goal of the game by sophomore midfielder 
Isabella Tamburrino 1:52 into the contest. By the end of the game, Gailliout had hiked her career total to 105 points with a six-point night that included three goals and three assists. She ranks sixth in program history and is four points behind fifth-place Annalise Strojan (2010-13),
 
As quickly as the Scarlet Raptors scored, the Mighty Macs bounced back, and they did so with a flurry. Immaculata scored the next 10 goals, starting with the tying tally by sophomore midfielder Jackie Murray only 35 seconds after Tamburrino's goal. Twenty-five seconds later, sophomore midfielder Tessa Liberatoscioli scored a goal to put the Mighty Macs ahead to stay.
 
Immaculata led, 9-1, after the first quarter. Before the Scarlet Raptors scored again, on an unassisted tally by Gailliout, the Mighty Macs had fashioned a 10-1 lead.
 
Liberatoscioli and Murray both finished with five goals and two caused turnovers, while a pair of sophomores, midfielder Liza Laxton and attack Kaitlyn Klitchko, added three goals apiece. Klitchko also notched two of the three Immaculata assists.
 
Murray also collected four ground balls and six draw controls to lead the Mighty Macs.

Jazmin Torres notched the other Raptor goal, while senior attack

Torres led the Raptors with five draw controls, hiking her career output to 115, the third-highest total in program history. Gailliout had a team-high four ground balls, while sophomore goalie 
G Bellon added three and Butler had two. The Raptors' lone caused turnover was by freshman attack 
Keyani Savage.
 
Bellon faced 40 Immaculata shots and made 15 saves, while Mighty Mac freshman keeper Ashley Finkbinker made seven saves.
 
Rutgers-Camden returns to action March 31 with a 5 p.m. game at Cedar Crest College.
