The Scarlet Raptors fall to 2-5 overall and 0-4 in the NJAC with their fourth loss in five games.
Montclair State led by as many as 20 points in the opening half (35-15) on its way to a 35-22 lead at the break. The Red Hawks shot 41.7 percent from the floor (15-for-36) in the opening half to the Scarlet Raptors' 39.1 percent (9-for-23) and forced 14 Rutgers-Camden turnovers.
Senior guard
Nicosia Henry (Bolingbrook, IL/Bolingbrook) notched 13 points in the opening half to spark the Red Hawks, while junior guard
Janitza Aquino (Kearny, NJ/Kearny) added nine. Henry also added four steals in the opening half.
Rutgers-Camden received seven first-half points from sophomore guard
Krystle Cook (Philadelphia, PA/Girard College). Junior guard
Alex Gravinese (Audubon, NJ/Audubon) added five first-half points, including a three-pointer that snapped the Red Hawks' 15-0 run to start the game.
Henry finished with game-high totals of 17 points and five steals, while Aquino added 14 points. Junior center

(Elizabethtown, NJ/Roselle Catholic) had 12 points and game-high totals of four assists and four blocked shots.
Senior guard
Sarah Kluth (Lynbrook, NY/St. Mary's) notched a game-high 11 rebounds for the Red Hawks, who held a 41-32 advantage off the boards.
Montclair State, which shot 27-for-67 from the floor (40.3), held Rutgers-Camden to 31.8 percent shooting (14-for-44) and forced 30 turnovers.
The Scarlet Raptors received 13 points from Cook and seven from sophomore guard

Tanjae Lewis (Magnolia, NJ/Sterling) and sophomore forward
Michelle Onu (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill East) collected six rebounds apiece for the Scarlet Raptors. Onu also blocked three shots.
