Box Score UNION, NJ – The Kean University Cougars beat the Rutgers-Camden women's lacrosse team 19-to-9.
Kean took an early 13-5 lead at the half. The Scarlet Raptors defense held the Cougars to only 6 goals in the second period, but it was too late for Rutgers-Camden. Kean outscored the Scarlet Raptors 6-4 in the second half. The 19-19 victory over the Scarlet Raptors is the Cougars second NJAC win of the year.
Cecilia Gross had a team high with four goals, seven draw controls, and one ground ball.
Natalie DiCarlo scored two goals and a ground ball.
Krystal Valianti had three points with two goals and an assist for the Scarlet Raptors.
Holly Cusick notched six draw controls, two caused tunrovers and an assist.
The Scarlet Raptors (1-11, NJAC 0-4) will host Rowan University (6-6, NJAC 3-2) on Tuesday, April 20
