CAMDEN, NJ - The Rutgers-Camden women's tennis team topped New Jersey Athletic Conference rival Rutgers-Newark, 5-4.
The Scarlet Raptors won two doubles matches over the Scarlet Raiders.
Amanda Hickman and
Angela Errigo won 8-0 in the first spot.
Christine Abacan and
Ina San Buenaventura won 8-6 as the No. 2 duo. At third doubles, Rutgers-Newark won by default.
In singles action,
Amanda Hickman won 6-0, 6-0 in the first spot. At the No. 2 spot,
Angela Errigo won 6-2, 6-2.
Christine Abacan won 6-1, 7-5 in the third spot. In the fourth spot,
Ina San Buenaventura lost 6-1, 6-3.
China Owens lost 6-0, 6-0 in the fifth spot. In the sixth spot, Rutgers-Newark won by default.
Rutgers-Camden (1-2, NJAC 1-0) will host Hunter College on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 3:00pm.
