MONTCLAIR, N.J. (Sept. 14, 2021) – The Rutgers University-Camden volleyball team opened its New Jersey Athletic Conference schedule here Tuesday night and the Scarlet Raptors were swept by Montclair State University, 3-0, to drop their record to 5-3 overall and 0-1 in the NJAC.
The Red Hawks (2-5/1-0) won by scores of 25-19, 25-20 and 26-24.
The Red Hawks have won six straight matches against Rutgers-Camden. The last Scarlet Raptor win in the series came at Montclair State on Oct. 6, 2015 by a 3-2 score.
Senior outside hitter Leah Higgins had 12 kills to lead the Red Hawks, while senior Delaney St. Pierre notched 34 assists and senior Katelyn Monaghan collected 25 digs.
For the Scarlet Raptors, sophomore outside hitter/right side
Erica Nebrich collected 11 kills, hit .281 and delivered six digs and two service aces.

Brinn Hassan collected 31 assists to hike her career mark to 1,304, while adding eight digs. Senior libero
Morgan Fox notched 14 digs.

Kaliyah Moss delivered nine kills, hit .350 and added 10 digs. Sophomore outside hitter

Isabella Choice had six kills apiece, with Choice hitting .294 and adding two solo blocks. Senior middle hitter
Devyn Cobb added four kills.
The Scarlet Raptors host a tri-match on Sunday when they entertain Penn State-Harrisburg and Wilkes University, beginning at 11 a.m.
