CAMDEN, N.J. (Sept. 19, 2021) – The Rutgers University-Camden volleyball team entered Sunday's home tri-match on a slight skid with a two-match losing streak.
The Scarlet Raptors quickly found a way to get back on track, sweeping a tri-match against both Penn State-Harrisburg and Wilkes University, 3-0 in both matches. Rutgers-Camden won by scores of 25-18, 26-24 and 25-19 against the Nittany Lions, while taking the Colonels by 25-10, 25-14 and 25-18.
In the middle match of the day, Penn State-Harrisburg defeated Wilkes College, 3-1 (19-25, 25-11, 25-10 and 25-16).
Rutgers University-Camden improves to 7-3. The Scarlet Raptors return to action this week with 7 p.m. home matches on both Tuesday and Thursday. They face defending New Jersey Athletic Conference champion Stockton University Tuesday and play Drew University Thursday.

The Scarlet Raptors received 10 kills and six aces from sophomore
Erica Nebrich, who hit .500 for the match. Sophomore teammate
Kaliyah Moss collected eight kills, hit .471, had six blocks (five assisted) and four digs.
Senior
Kayla Benesz led the team with 18 assists, while adding four digs, and senior
Devyn Cobb notched three kills and six assisted blocks. Senior
Brinn Hassan added three assists and two service aces, while seniors
Morgan Fox and
Savannah Hayes had six and four digs, respectively.

Moss registered 11 kills and hit .474, while Nebrich had seven kills and sophomore
Isabella Choice delivered six kills and a .667 hitting percentage. The Scarlet Raptors had 34 kills and a .287 hitting percentage as a team.
Hassan directed the offense with 19 assists, while Benesz added six. Fox had 15 digs and four assists.
Senior
Delaney Kolb and Moss drilled four service aces apiece, with Hassan adding three. Both Nebrich and Choice had two aces apiece.
Rutgers-Camden collected eight assisted blocks in the match, with Choice notching four of them and sophomore
Dyamond Free adding two.
