Box Score 2 WILKES-BARRE, Penn. (Octo. 30, 2021) – When the Rutgers University-Camden volleyball team closed its regular-season schedule by sweeping a tri-match here Saturday, the Scarlet Raptors accomplished more than just another pair of wins.
Rutgers-Camden also reached a level only one team in program history had managed to attain.
The Scarlet Raptors raised their record to 20-8 by posting 3-0 wins over host Wilkes University and visiting Alfred University, becoming only the second team in program history to win 20 matches. The program record of 24-8 was set in 2012.
Rutgers-Camden will look for its 21st victory Tuesday when it begins play in the New Jersey Athletic Conference playoffs. The Scarlet Raptors travel to Kean University for a 7 p.m. quarterfinal match.

Rutgers-Camden dispatched Wilkes, 25-15, 25-13 and 26-24. Sophomore
Erica Nebrich paced the attack with seven kills and six aces, while sophomores
Isabella Choice and
Kaliyah Moss joined senior
Brinn Hassan with six kills apiece. Sophomore
Dyamond Free added four kills and hit .400.
Hassan also collected 25 assists, four aces and seven digs, while Moss had three aces, five block assists and five digs.
Seniors
Morgan Fox and
Savannah Hayes notched 20 and six digs, respectively, while senior
Devyn Cobb put on a blocking clinic with two solo and four assisted blocks.
Rutgers-Camden 3, Alfred 0
The Scarlet Raptors reached win number 20 with a 26-24, 25-15 and 25-14 sweep over Alfred. Nebrich, Choice and Moss all collected 10 kills, with Choice hitting .438 and Moss hitting .409. Moss nearly collected her 11th double-double of the season, finishing with nine digs.
Free added nine kills and seven digs, while Fox had eight digs.
Hassan dished off 34 assists, tying for the fourth-highest three-set total in program history. She already holds the three-set mark with 43 assists, set against William Paterson University on March 2, 2021. Her big assist day, meanwhile, hiked her career total to 1,844, the second-highest mark in program history.
Hassan also added five service aces.
